Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute experiments of considerable scope and complexity in the assigned research lab focusing on aspects related to autoimmunity.
• Collect and analyze data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and institutions.
• Identify and select problems to be studied.
• Develop and troubleshoot new experimental techniques and protocols.
• Attend research seminars.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and support technical writing.
• Participate in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences.
• Successful completion of a background check required.
• May be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
