Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring an OH or compact RN license and at least two years of recent experience.

Job Details

• Float pool role in a Med/Surg Tele hospital setting,

• Shifts are 3x12 hours, days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM,

• Weekly schedule consists of 36 hours,

• Must be available for both weekdays and some weekends, including holidays,

• Patient ratios typically 1:4-5,

• Required to float between units of equal or lower acuity as needed,

• Uses EPIC EHR system and telemetry monitoring equipment,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license,

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience required,

• Current BCLS certification,

• Proficiency in starting IVs and telemetry monitoring,

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills,

• Experience using EPIC EHR system,

Additional Information

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients,

• Must be flexible and able to float within assigned units,

• Holiday coverage is expected per the unit's needs,

• No time off is allowed from February 15 through February 28, 2026,
