JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to inquiries regarding CEBCO benefits and programs. Gather data from member counties for actuarial consultants and underwriters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or Equivalent
3-5 years experience in health insurance industry
Life, Health Annuity Sales License preferred
Valid Ohio Driver’s License
Ability to meet insurance requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of health insurance under writing principles. Ability to gather data and create reports. Skill responding to clients regarding billing questions. Mathematical and statistical ability. Knowledge of and ability to use relevant computer applications.
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES: (The duties listed below are intended to depict tasks performed by this classification)
Essential Functions:
Respond to inquiries regarding CEBCO programs. Assist member counties in correcting claims payments.
Gather and collate data from member counties and prepare reports for actuarial consultants.
Participate in member county health fairs.
Conduct regional meeting for brokers and prospective clients.
Provide annual training for member counties regarding billing, enrollment, etc.
Comply with HIPPA regulations.
Non-Essential Duties:
Electronic or paper filing.
Assist and support other CCAO business and program operations.
Related duties as required.
