Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM), Monday–Friday
Variable shifts may be required; 10-hour shifts used during holiday weeks to ensure 40 guaranteed hours
Deliver radiation therapy treatments to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Operate and treat patients using Varian True Beam and Halcyon linear accelerators
Utilize ARIA (v15) oncology information system for treatment delivery and documentation
Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging for patient positioning and verification
Conduct chart checks and collaborate with dosimetry and interdisciplinary teams
Safely manage emergency situations, including use of crash cart and defibrillator
Provide radiation treatments for a wide range of conditions including CNS, head & neck, pediatric, and complex oncology cases
Support treatment planning and delivery for specialized procedures and irradiation techniques
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist (5 years preferred )
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T)
ARRT-R certification
Active Ohio state license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Full competency with Varian True Beam, Halcyon, and ARIA
Required experience treating:
Head & Neck (H&N) cancers
CNS (Brain/Spinal Cord) cases
Experience in adult and pediatric acute and outpatient care settings
Ability to manage emergency cases and perform chart checks
Willingness to comply with strict credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
Teaching hospital experience
Experience with
Vision
RT or OSMSARIA system advanced proficiency
DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold) experience
Pediatric oncology experience, including neonates and infants
Experience treating:
Benign brain tumors
Craniospinal irradiation
Prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials
Stereotactic radiosurgery
Total body and total skin irradiation
Graves disease, keloids, heterotopic bone, prophylactic treatments
Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
Leukemia, kidney, pancreatic, and testicular cancers
