Contract Coordinator

• Conduct secondary reviews of invoices produced by Contract Representatives for quality and accuracy
• Train Contract Representatives according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Perform quality assurance checks and provide coaching and feedback as necessary
• Manage and track all work, information, and documents using company-provided software
• Maintain accurate records related to invoices, billing, follow-up, and reporting

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing; knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulations preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with intermediate to advanced skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Associate degree or technical certification in medical billing
• General understanding of ambulance billing and service levels
• Familiarity with CMS DRG/PPS guidelines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Experience in building relationships with internal and external customers
