Locum Tenens Physician Assistant Jobs – Neonatology in Columbus, Ohio (Level III NICU)

Join a collaborative  Level III NICU  team as a  Locum Tenens Physician Assistant  in  Columbus, Ohio 43214 . This neonatology opportunity offers the chance to care for medically complex newborns in a well-supported hospital setting with in-house attendings and resident coverage. Job Requirements

1+ year of experience in  neonatology  required

Active  Physician Assistant certification  or eligibility for licensure

Experience working in a  NICU  or neonatal intensive care setting

Ability to perform key neonatal procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment

Comfort working rotating day and night shifts

DEA registration preferred/required as applicable

Responsibilities

Provide clinical support for newborns in a  Level III NICU

Perform neonatal procedures including  intubation ,  umbilical line placement , and  thoracentesis

Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and the broader neonatal care team

Evaluate and manage a daily patient load in a fast-paced  hospital setting

Deliver safe, high-quality care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment

Support continuity of care across rotating shifts
