Director of Rehabilitation DOR

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 Per Year

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation team at Watertown Health Care Center. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative environment among our interdisciplinary team.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients with various conditions and diagnoses

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans

• Supervise and mentor rehabilitation team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care

• Conduct staff training and education programs to promote best practices and stay current with industry developments

• Monitor and report on program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective use of resources

• Foster relationships with local medical centers, clinics, and other healthcare organizations to expand referral sources and promote partnerships

• At least 1years of experience in a rehabilitation setting

• Master's degree in occupational therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field (or equivalent experience), or required education for Physical therapy assistant, Speech Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Current licensure/certification in state of residence

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
