Job Summary:Cap City Supported Living & Home Care Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional Floater Female to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing personalized in-home care to individuals who are homebound and require personal attention. Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom
- Assist with medication management and administration as needed
- Help clients with meal preparation, laundry, and household chores
- Encourage and facilitate socialization and recreational activities to promote client engagement and well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and report client status and concerns to management and healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment for clients
- Work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, to ensure 24/7 coverage
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, such as seniors or individuals with disabilities, preferred
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
