Zone Access Manager; Nephrology; Los Angeles​/San Jose, CA

Role:
The Zone Access Manager (ZAM), Market Access, is a customer-facing position responsible for optimizing patient access to Ardelyx therapies within a specified geography.

Responsibilities include providing case management support throughout the patient access journey, collaborating with sales and healthcare providers, educating on assistance programs, and serving as the payer access expert by monitoring coverage policies and market dynamics. The role involves virtual engagement primarily, with occasional in-person interactions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience in field access or reimbursement management, preferably in biotech, with strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy, insurance processes (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial), and nephrology workflows.

Skills include excellent communication, relationship-building, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
