Home Health Aide (HHA) – Columbus, OH 43235

Pay: $16.00/hour Job Type: Part-Time Hours: 28 hours/week

Job Summary

We are seeking a mature, dependable, and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for a client in Columbus, OH 43235.

The client has COPD and uses nasal oxygen (O₂) and has diabetes
. The home also has a companion dog and cat
, so applicants must be comfortable around pets.

Schedule

Monday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM & 7:00 PM–11:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM & 7:00 PM–11:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Total: 28 hours/week

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and personal care
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to client care
Assist with safe mobility as needed
Follow the client's care plan
Observe and report changes in the client's condition
Provide attentive care to a client using supplemental oxygen

Qualifications

HHA, PCA, caregiver, or home care experience preferred
Mature, reliable, and compassionate
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working around dogs and cats
Comfortable caring for a client with chronic health conditions
Able to commit to the scheduled hours
