American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a teaching hospital setting, requiring ARRT certification and Siemens scanner experience.

• Rotates through Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Pediatric Acute Care settings
• 5x8 hour evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Every third weekend rotation required
• Flexibility required to cover other shifts as needed
• Required to work holidays as needed
• Performs abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast
• Performs chest, head, and neck CT with and without contrast
• Performs cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine imaging and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT colonography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies
• Uses Siemens CT scanner and PACS system

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• OH state license required if applicable
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media required
• Experience starting peripheral IVs required
• NICU/PICU/Adult ICU experience preferred

• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; a Charge RN may serve as the second reference; coworker references are not accepted
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as travelers at this facility
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers may be considered
