Job Summary:
The Event Producer will, under the general direction of Executive and Senior Event Sales Managers, be responsible for developing existing business and initiating new business. The Event Producer will organize events from inception to execution including proposals, menu development, contracts, deposits, walkthroughs, rentals, staffing, delivery, décor, setup, timeline, and teardown. This position requires evening and weekend hours.
- Acts as the liaison between the client and Cameron Mitchell Premier Events
- Ensures proper event execution, service, and safety standards
- Practices and supports Cameron Mitchell Restaurants' culture and exhibits Genuine Hospitality at all times
- Takes and responds to initial client inquiries via phone and internet
- Creates proposals aligned with clients' vision and company standards
- Meets with clients to make rental selections and discuss preliminary details
- Understands and navigates through Caterease
- Inputs new events and modifies current events in Caterease
- Attends walkthroughs and client meetings
- Communicates professionally with clients via email, in person, or phone
- Manages time within given schedule
- Responsible for client billing
- Attends networking events as needed
- Weekly review of sales goals
- 2+ years of catering, sales, or venue experience
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent team development and leadership skills
- Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Reports to work on time as scheduled, maintaining personal hygiene and cleanliness
- Exemplifies hospitality standards and addresses guest questions and requests
- Cooperates with management and co-workers, offering suggestions positively
- Follows safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and reports unsafe conditions
- Knows emergency procedures
- Performs all duties according to standards and procedures in the associate handbook
