The opportunity
Delaware North Sport service is searching for part‑time Catering Attendants to join our team at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. As a Catering Attendant you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that guests’ needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will be friendly, positive and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay$14.00 – $14.00 / hour

What will you do?- Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order
- Accurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Performs necessary tasks to service guests including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing of dirty dishes
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints
- Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable)
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow team members
- Breaks down event according to company procedures
- Must be 18 or older
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel, full‑service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
- Exposure to variable temperatures
- May be required to work in narrow spaces
