Nestled in the heart of the Short North Arts District, connected to the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the Hilton Columbus Downtown boasts two towers with 1,000 guest rooms, 75,000 square feet of event space, and several unique dining experiences. The Gallerie Bar & Bistro Team is currently seeking a Buffet Attendant (Part‑time) to work early morning shifts in an award‑winning property.

A Buffet Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down buffet or food bar. The task is performed in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner, resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

• Replenish needed food and supplies by retrieving items from the kitchen and storerooms to ensure adequate food amounts are always maintained.
• Set up buffet food bar as instructed by manager through verbal and/or written communication.
• Recommend and describe buffet items to guests using a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
• Visually check station before, during, and after the shift for proper set‑up, cleanliness, and aesthetically appealing presentation of the food bar.
• Lift and place trays of food into the buffet bar efficiently and quietly and according to safety standards.
