What You'll Do:
- Administer and oversee the job analysis processes for ongoing monitoring and evaluation. Maintain clear and detailed records of job analyses steps, documents, scoring, templates and job aids for transparency and a defensible validated process.
- Establish and manage job analysis selection instruments, including vendor research, contract renewals, and licensures.
- Collaborate with Labor Relations on non-selection grievances and/or complaints including class plan review and updates.
- Will prepare various human resource (HR) statistical reports and studies pertaining to job analysis.
- Collaborate with managers to develop structured interview questions and work to identify tasks and knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for developing and validating employment assessments.
- Manage the secure storage and systematic archival of test and interview questions, ensuring easy access and retrieval for HR.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for managers on best practices and compliance in documentation during the selection and hiring processes.
- Support succession planning and alignment with bureau/office and agency structures.
- Train HR staff on job analyses, PD processes, application usage, software, and other technical tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding and proven experience related to job analyses and employment assessments.
- Strong understanding of Labor Relations in regard to OCSEA Article 17 and SEIU/1199 Article 30.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience facilitating and/or leading work groups.
The selection process will consist of an assessment and interview.
4 yrs. exp. in human resources.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration AND 24 mos. exp. in human resources which included 12 mos. exp. in supervisory &/or management principles & techniques.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Human Capital Management Senior Analyst, 64613.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
