Key Responsibilities- Provides strategic consulting on executive compensation matters including employment contracts, severance, officer elections, disclosures, CEO performance evaluation process, board compensation, incentive design, and governance policies and practices.
- Partners with senior leaders to shape, educate, and communicate compensation philosophy and programs for key executive roles.
- Ensures executive roles are internally equitable and externally competitive, creating innovative solutions for complex compensation matters and total rewards-related issues.
- Provides thought leadership in helping design and shape executive compensation strategies, programs, plan designs, and use of various compensation vehicles all to support business strategies and drive long-term value creation.
- Collaborates with senior stakeholders in HR, finance, and other areas to ensure clarity and alignment of compensation plan with other HR and business strategies.
- Communicates changes or updates to plan designs, programs, incentives, and participation with key audiences to ensure full understanding.
- Conducts market research and presents data, analysis, insights, and recommendations to enhance compensation programs and governance.
- Builds and manages relationships with external consultants, vendors, and internal Centers of Expertise to ensure alignment across HR strategies.
- Supports regulatory and disclosure requirements, including Compensation Disclosure & Analysis (proxy), S-1 and other filings, and statutory reporting.
- Implements controls and improves processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and upholds governance standards in all aspects of executive compensation.
