Our client, a dynamic organization in the industry sector, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Range: 33.57/hr
Responsibilities- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates via phone or in person, and administer testing and background checks.
- Recommend suitable candidates for employment and extend job offers for various positions within an assigned territory.
- Utilize traditional and innovative resources, such as career fairs and online job portals, to attract high-quality candidates.
- Manage internal transfer processes, coordinate interviews, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment and placement of professional and management-level positions.
- Experience working with electronic applicant tracking systems and internet recruiting sources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel infrequently for job fairs or meetings.
