Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator

Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports recruiting, onboarding, and compliance initiatives while ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience. This role partners with owner to attract talent, maintain HR records, and support compliance with employment laws and company policies.

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and offer administration.
• Manage onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, background checks, and I-9 verification.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with HR audits, reporting, record retention, and compliance documentation.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support employee engagement, performance management, and other HR initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain data accuracy.
• Payroll processing through Paychex.

• 2+ years of HR experience with a focus on recruiting and compliance.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
