Job SummaryThe Assistant Director of Product – Technical for Digital Workspace leads the strategic direction, planning, design, development, and operational support for enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms. This role is instrumental in shaping the digital employee experience and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and innovation of core workplace technologies.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and administrators responsible for the delivery and support of enterprise-wide platforms.
- Define and execute product strategies for Unified Communications, Microsoft 365, and Contact Center platforms (e.g., voice, chat, IVR, omnichannel routing, analytics).
- Oversee the full engineering lifecycle: architecture, build, installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Ensure platform stability, security, and compliance while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex technical and architectural challenges.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance the digital workspace and contact center experience.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendor partners to align roadmaps and delivery timelines.
- Lead high-impact, high-visibility projects with significant business risk and strategic value.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the product and engineering teams.
- Experience in IT or product management.
- Deep expertise in Unified Communications, Microsoft 365, and Contact Center technologies (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Cisco, Avaya, or similar).
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures, security frameworks, and ITIL practices.
- Proven track record managing large-scale technical programs and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with Agile product development and Dev Ops practices.
- Familiarity with digital employee experience (DEX) platforms and metrics.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, or Contact Center platforms.
