Functional Analyst – Smith

We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Analyst to manage and execute promotions for a retailer operating in the US, Canada, and Australia. The business is complex and revolves heavily around promotions. This role involves creating, testing, and deploying promotions using SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice, maintaining site data, and supporting site operations and issue resolution.

• Create and configure promotions in SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice for multiple regions (US, CA, AU).
• Thoroughly test all promotions in the Commerce environment to ensure accuracy and prevent potential misuse or financial loss due to promo issues.
• Deploy tested promotions to the production environment.
• Research and troubleshoot issues related to promotions and other site functionalities.
• Maintain site data including product details, user information and general content updates.
• Assist with site testing for bug fixes, enhancements and production issue resolution.
• Investigate and help resolve production issues, especially those related to promotions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth site operations.
• Align working hours with West Coast time zone to support operational needs.

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice or similar eCommerce platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough testing.
• Ability to manage multiple promotions and site updates across different regions.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to align work hours with Pacific Coast time zone and support occasional production issues that occur after hours.

• Prior experience in retail eCommerce operations.
• Familiarity with promotional strategy and execution across multiple regions.
