Client seeks an experienced Microsoft Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) contractor. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day administration, capacity and resiliency planning, migration to Intune/MECM, device deployment and patching, Active Directory group policy migration or troubleshooting, assisting customers with migration to enterprise domains, and standardizing onboarding.
Required Skills Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM/SCCM)- Experience with MECM especially in co‑management models.
- Administer and design MECM deployments across complex networks.
- Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports.
- Troubleshoot failed deployments and health issues.
- Ensure consistent enterprise‑wide systems and security update delivery.
- Administer SCCM software delivery methods.
- Windows server administration.
- Various SCCM configurations, application delivery, client health reporting, network/SCCM boundaries, bandwidth allocation, delivery optimization.
- Experience standing up a new MECM implementation.
- Ability to teach and train technicians in MECM or Intune.
- Experience with Patch My PC and endpoint protection technologies is a plus.
- Expert level experience with Intune for corporate and personal devices across supported operating systems.
- Responsible for installation, implementation, and configuration of profiles/policies (Windows, Android, iOS).
- Intune compliance and configuration profiles for all platforms.
- Power Shell scripting to create policies and deploy via Intune.
- Configure Windows 10/11 update rings, feature updates, Autopilot via Intune.
- Bit Locker encryption via Intune; security baseline policy deployment.
- Intune deployment profiles (Azure AD Join & Hybrid Join).
- Azure AD users, groups, tenant administration, and password policies.
- Lifecycle management of endpoints and support for future needs.
- Assist in IT infrastructure design, troubleshooting, and solution provision.
- Application delivery infrastructure for Windows, Android, iOS.
- Research new Digital Workplace technologies.
- Provide advice to customers and colleagues, Intune troubleshooting, reports & analytics, service set‑up.
- Configuration of Windows Autopilot, OS upgrades, MDM/MAM policies.
- Manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile solutions.
- Understanding of SSO, MFA, Azure AD Connect, and Azure AD directory service.
- Application onboarding, packaging, provisioning via Intune (MSI technologies).
- Experience with Active Directory (group policy troubleshooting, domain migration, transition to Intune profiles).
- Experience with Microsoft Entra relation to Intune.
- Active Directory and network file share management (create & modify permissions, configure remote share access).
- Active Directory Group Policy management: maintain compliance policies, modify per agency request.
- Configure drive mappings for new/changed paths.
- Assist account management and security tasks in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Active Directory.
- Experience in multi‑technology Windows domains, domain migrations, and new group policy environment creation.
- Project management or co‑leading a technical project.
- Microsoft Certifications for listed technologies.
- Develop disaster recovery plans for all technologies.
- Create technical documentation and reports.
- Communicate with project leaders and stakeholders.
- Assist desktop support/Endpoint teams during technical migrations.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build partner relationships.
