Client - State of Ohio

Currently remote but will be hybrid soon. You need to travel to attend meetings from first day . Need to pick up Laptop from office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience (preferred) J2EE, WAS,JSF/Spring/Hibernate, Java Batch, JDBC, HTML, Java script,
• 8+ years experience (preferred) JQuery, Springboot, Microservices, XML, SOAP,Azure, GIT
• 3+ years experience (preferred) Maven, Nexus,Jenkins, eLDAP, CMIS, File Net, IIB, ACE, BAR, Splunk, Dynatrace, Veracode
• 8+ years experience (preferred) with Oracle and SQL Server, writing, updating,and testing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• 3+ IMB Web Sphere experience

Typical Duties/Abilities

• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues
• Develop, document design, test,and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a javaimplementation
• Daily use of TFS/Azure Dev Ops including git,boards and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document analysis and findings
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews duringprojects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.
• Familiarity with the current technologiesbeing used. (
• Assist with implementing new cutting-edge technologies. Offer viable technical solutions for integration with the existing application code.

Soft Skills

• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters,Developers, Designers, Business Analysts).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
• Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bringabout consensus.
• Excellent written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
• Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.

Education

• BS degree in Information Technology or another related technical discipline
