Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000

About The Role

Are you an experienced COBOL programmer looking to apply your skills in a mission-driven environment? Join Corinth Consulting Group in supporting our Department of Defense client by maintaining and enhancing critical mainframe applications. This mid-level role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL and JCL programs in a mainframe environment.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Conduct peer code reviews, perform root cause analysis, and resolve integration issues.
• Prepare project updates and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in team meetings.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience with mainframe applications.
• Strong skills in COBOL, JCL, testing, debugging, version control, and documentation.

Preferred:

• Experience with root cause analysis, technical writing, stakeholder collaboration, and project tracking.
