Infrastructure Specialist – Intune, Active Directory, and MECM

Location:

Columbus, OH (Onsite 5 days per week). Highly preferred local candidates; relocation considered.

Client is looking for an experienced Microsoft Active Directory, Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) contract resource. Responsibilities include day-to-day administration, capacity and resiliency planning and implementation, migration to Intune and/or MECM, device deployment, device patching, Active Directory group policy migration or troubleshooting, assisting customers with migration to the enterprise domains, and standardizing onboarding.

• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM/SCCM)
• Experience with MECM, especially in co-management models
• Administer and design the implementation of MECM deployments across complex networks and environments
• Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in MECM
• Troubleshoot failed MECM deployments and health issues
• Ensure consistent enterprise-wide systems and security update delivery via MECM
• Administer SCCM software delivery, including Windows server administration, various SCCM configurations, application delivery, client health reporting, network/SCCM boundaries, bandwidth allocation, and delivery optimization
• Experience standing up a new MECM implementation
• Teach and train technicians on MECM or Intune tasks
• Experience with Patch My PC (plus)
• Experience with endpoint protection technologies (plus)
• Intune Administration: expert-level experience with all aspects of Intune for corporate owned and personal devices supporting all supported operating systems
• Responsible for installation, implementation and configuration of profiles/policies
• Intune Compliance and configuration profiles for Windows 10/11, Android & iOS
• Power Shell scripts for creating policies and deploying via Intune
• Windows 10/11 Update Ring and feature updates management
• Windows Autopilot via Intune
• Bit Locker encryption through Intune
• Security baseline policy deployment
• Intune Deployment Profiles (Azure AD Join & Hybrid Join)
• Azure AD users and groups management
• Intune tenant administration
• Endpoint lifecycle management (feature updates, upgrades, etc.)
• Assist in design and implementation of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting and providing solutions for problems and conflicts
• Azure AD password policies
• Application delivery infrastructure design and deployment for Windows 10/11, Android, iOS
• Maintain awareness of current developments in digital workplace and conduct research and development of new technologies
• Provide proactive and reactive advice to customers and colleagues
• Intune troubleshooting
• Intune reports & endpoint analytics
• Coordinate service set-up in the customer environment
• Configuration of Windows Autopilot, deployment of OS upgrades and applications along with MDM, MAM policies
• Manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot and optimize mobile solutions
• Understanding of SSO and MFA technologies for SaaS applications
• Understanding of Azure AD Connect and Azure AD directory service for managing cloud identity
• Application onboarding, packaging, provisioning & deployment via Intune platform, knowledge of MSI technologies
• Active Directory and Windows Administration (group policy troubleshooting, domain migration, transition to Intune profiles)
• Experience with Microsoft Entra  relation to Intune
• Active Directory and network file share management (create/modify permissions, configure access to remote file shares, configure drive mappings)
• Active Directory group policy management (maintain policies per security guidelines, modify per agency request, configure group policy objects)
• Assist account management and security tasks in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Active Directory
