What is the Consulting Solutions Architect Team?

The Consulting Solutions Architecture Team is a pre‑sales overlay that partners with core WWT account teams to provide domain expertise and technical alignment for Fortune 500 customers throughout the Heartland Region.

As a Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA), you will lead enterprise networking strategy for Fortune 500 customers, covering Datacenter, Campus, Wireless, SD‑WAN, SASE/SSE, and AI networking solutions. You will have full access to ATC for demos, POCs, workshops, and personal development.

What will you be doing?

As a CSA, you will support enterprise networking pre‑sales engagements across the North Central Region, acting as a trusted advisor to key customers. Your responsibilities include aligning technical solutions with customer business goals, maintaining strategic relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and working with OEM partners such as Cisco, Juniper, and Nvidia.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Cover the North Central region.
• Travel up to 40%.
• Work collaboratively with Core Consulting Systems Engineers and WWT Client Managers to drive strategic discussions around enterprise networking solutions.
• Continuously deepen expertise in enterprise networking and architecture.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers, and mentorship to fellow engineers.
• Simplify messaging to customers about how WWT can assist in modernizing network architecture.
• Engage in thought leadership activities such as technology events, blogs, podcasts, and conferences.
• Assist core account teams in creating proposals and presentations for WWT’s enterprise networking solutions.
• Participate in design sessions and provide technical oversight for customer POCs and lab engagements in ATC.
• Define POC requirements and customer engagement guidelines with core account teams.

Qualifications

• Must be located in or near major metropolitan cities covering the North Central region (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin).
• CCIE R/S, ACDE, or JNCIE highly desired but not required.
• Deep knowledge of the competitive enterprise networking landscape.
• Large‑scale enterprise networking experience with Fortune 1000 customers or similar deployments.
• Expert proficiency in at least two of the following areas:
  Datacenter networking, campus networking, wireless, SD‑WAN, SASE/SSE, and networking for AI solutions.
• Ability to learn new enterprise networking technologies quickly.
• Stays abreast of market trends in enterprise networking.
• Travel up to 40%.
