Responsibilities- Independently build and unit test components and work with Dev/QA team members to resolve code and configuration-based defects.
- Lead a dev team and provide guidance/mentorship as needed.
- Provide direction to the dev team to conduct research and document results for new Salesforce capabilities or review existing platform-related issues.
- Lead proof of concepts with architects to evaluate and document new designs, integrations, patterns, and practices.
- Provide leadership and demonstrate proficiency in core Salesforce capabilities such as Apex, LWCs, flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security.
- Participate in agile practices and ceremonies through scrum team planning sessions, user story refinement, daily status updates, code reviews, and provide leadership to team members.
- Participate in enhancements to Dev Ops processes (pipelines, monitoring, test automation).
- Understand enterprise cross‑system integration concepts such as processing events and interacting with APIs.
- Conduct product/solution evaluations – including Salesforce capabilities and third‑party vendor offerings – by creating prototypes/POCs to clarify and design toward business goals.
- Design, document, and develop best practices for consumption by the COE technical delivery organization.
- Mentor technical delivery staff.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible technical and business work experience developing enterprise-level applications, including full‑stack development.
- Minimum 2‑3 years in a scrum team environment.
- Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of the Salesforce data model across various clouds/products and strong data modeling experience.
- Subject matter expertise in branching/code merging practices in GIT or equivalent repository.
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
- Experience evaluating, deploying, and upgrading Salesforce managed packages.
- Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, etc.
- Experience with other Salesforce products like Mule Soft or Marketing Cloud is a plus.
