- Ensure the availability and facilitate the productive use of product(s) for Application Teams or end users.
- Own part, all, or several products depending on scope.
- Collaborate with Technical Architecture Specialist, System Specialists, Programmers, and vendors to enhance product use and manage migration to new versions.
- Act as the Technical SME on an enterprise‑wide system.
- Implement products/services.
- Provide direct technical expertise to Executive applications involving national security.
- Make sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements.
- Analyze the functional and technical impact of product planning decisions.
- Develop appropriate functional and usability standards for products.
- Track and document expected volume and type of use.
- Participate in product design reviews to verify design meets quality standards and requirements.
- Perform impact analyses on production fixes and enhancements to establish priorities.
- Provide basic product support and accurate answers to detailed product questions in a timely manner.
- Provide effective on‑site product support as needed.
- Accurately set severity of identified defects.
- Provide input to training and/or documentation materials regarding latest technical and functional design changes.
- Document all work for future reference.
- Review the system test approach and conditions used as the basis for detailed test scenarios.
RICS:
Relationally Integrated Computer System application modernization for the Division of Oil & Gas Resources Management (DOGRM) well information system is currently a Microsoft Access user interface with a SQL Server backend (RBDMS) that is to be converted to a web‑based application hosted within the Azure cloud. The legacy system is still in operation and DOGRM needs staff augmentation to define a roadmap to sunset the legacy system.
/ Goals
- Experience with MS-Access & SQL Server (TSQL) development – 7+ years (Required)
- Experience creating Stored Procedures and Triggers to assist with bi‑directional sync between RICS and JMT – 7+ years (Required)
- Experience creating SQL queries to perform data cleanup or orphan data – 7+ years (Required)
- Experience creating ETL processes between systems – 7+ years (Required)
- Ability to resolve OnBase issues when transferring legacy documents (RBDMS) into OnBase with RICS taxonomy – 5+ years (Required)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology – 3+ years (Required)
- Document all requirements in ADO – (Required)
- Use Visio to document the sync process – (Required)
