• Knowledge of surrounding technologies including design patterns and modern standards
• Leadership skills to work effectively with peers within and across organizations
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Written and interpersonal communication with the ability to deliver compelling presentations
• Ability to manage and execute on multiple project timelines and manage competing priorities
• Knowledge in a product operating model and scaled agile

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Six or more years of relevant technical and business experience
• Three or more years of managerial experience in a complex business environment involving multiple business issues

• Six or more years of relevant technical and business experience with the following tools:
• Gearset
• Salesforce
• Jenkins
• Robot Framework
• AWS
• Selenium
• Quality Assurance business experience

• Guide the technical direction of the team, ensuring the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions
• Oversee delivery, ensuring timelines are met, quality standards are maintained, and resources are efficiently utilized
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and align the engineering team with business goals
• Participation in and well-planned implementation of established quality improvement initiatives and processes
• Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals
• Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, and encourage the team to explore new tools, techniques, and best practices that can benefit the organization
• Performs other duties as required

The salary range for this job is $102,000 – $160,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
