Founded in 2007, DTI (Diversified Technology, Inc.) is a successful African American owned IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago’s Loop. We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations—including CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA—for clients in SLED, financial services, Fortune companies, and public utilities, and we regularly partner with Big 4 SI partners.
Contract Details12+ month contract (12/22/2025 - 12/21/2026), W2 employment, located in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences using presentations, reports, diagrams, and user stories.
- Apply problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking to troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts, and propose solutions.
- Measure and monitor performance, quality, and value of IT services and solutions using metrics and KPIs.
- Assess the business impact of IT risks and issues and, when needed, escalate them to ensure timely resolution.
- Demonstrate strong business and budgeting skills with the ability to analyze and communicate trends.
- Understand and comply with contractual obligations and SLAs of service providers.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the application domain—business processes, data flows, system architecture, and integration points.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist Business Relationship Managers in reviewing and providing input into business strategy, forming business cases, and analyzing high‑level business goals and outcomes.
- Support business planning by eliciting requirements and modeling processes, recording them in standard documentation, and aligning with other IT teams (Architecture, Applications, Infrastructure, Services).
- Facilitate scope workshops, develop use cases, and guide solutions design to meet business goals, scope, and strategy.
- Deliver consulting services on vision, scope, and requirements; assess and manage change requests; assist testing teams with test scripts.
- Use template tools and internal processes consistently; evolve them as required.
- Participate in vendor reviews, product discussions, and the creation of RFIs/RFPs; review proposed designs for usability and requirement satisfaction.

- Required Qualifications for Position:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3‑4 years’ experience in application, services, or application analysis, deployment, and support
- Experience working closely with service providers and delegating operational activities
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software component relationships, trends, and best practices (on‑premise and SaaS)
- Solid computer, OS, and software skills (MS Office Suite, MS Project, other IT applications)
- Excellent analytical abilities, process analysis, problem solving, and root cause analysis
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, negotiation, communication, organizational, people management, and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to travel to NiSource business unit or Service Provider locations as needed
- Client business operations knowledge
- 2+ years’ experience working with support vendors in a software support environment
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and metrics

Experience:- Experience leading software implementation requirement gathering sessions and documenting business, functional, and non‑functional requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Understanding of Project Management Fundamentals (PMP certification a plus)
- Proven track record in leading successful delivery of technical projects
- Ability to work independently in multiple functional domains
$58.62 – $70.00 per hour, depending on experience.
