Senior IT EngineerLocation:
Columbus, OH
Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing and protecting IT assets, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with technology standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects, IT staff, and leadership to implement best practices, drive technology roadmap initiatives, and support strategic objectives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to consolidate and protect IT assets.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and related configurations.
- Collaborate with architects and IT teams to align with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to domain standards and reference architectures.
- Develop and review design artifacts for compliance with architecture guidelines.
- Update product standards and versions in assigned domains.
- Drive technology portfolio management discipline.
- Direct implementation of technology roadmap initiatives.
- Identify and manage technology risks.
- Provide clear and effective communication to architects, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Offer recommendations to influence technology strategy and roadmap decisions.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems management, or related technical roles.
- Strong expertise in IT asset management, configuration management, and technology compliance.
- Experience collaborating with architects and cross-functional IT teams.
- Knowledge of technology portfolio management and roadmap implementation.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools and IT systems.
Preferred
Skills:
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in energy, utilities, or highly regulated industries.
