We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead data warehousing initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment in Columbus, Ohio. This role will focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement in the bank's Enterprise Data Warehouse platform, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technological advancements. As a leader in the Data Technology organization, you will oversee a dedicated team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance the data ecosystem and meet evolving business needs.
This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to shape and optimize data-driven solutions.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of 12-16 professionals, offering coaching and technical guidance.
- Drive agile project execution to maintain consistent progress, transparency, and stakeholder involvement.
- Implement the organization's technology strategy, ensuring it aligns with enterprise objectives and business priorities.
- Manage demand planning and assess the feasibility and impact of data warehousing projects.
- Translate technical designs into physical data models, ensuring compliance with governance, architecture, and business requirements.
- Collaborate with operational data teams to manage data sources and downstream systems for reporting and analytics.
- Oversee incident resolution and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational metrics.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Maintain efficiency within the data warehouse platform while supporting innovation and scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale, multi-terabyte data warehousing projects.
- At least 7 years of experience managing data warehouse teams.
- Expertise in enterprise data warehousing practices and modern data architecture strategies.
- Strong organizational skills to build and lead high-performing teams while delivering on service level agreements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across various teams.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with tools like Data Stage, Python/PySpark, Erwin, Tableau, and enterprise data governance methods.
