Site Reliability Developer

Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. Maintain Availability, Scalability and Efficiency of Oracle Cloud Services. Solve complex infrastructure problems. Handle customer incident tickets and/or deploy software in test or production systems, and or perform testing on test systems or production systems. You will be required to do RCA when possible; if the issue is complex, beyond your knowledge or skills, escalate to developers in team.

It’s a critical role to help with availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Help manage Oracle standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. If needed, help facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
