Cloud Security Architect

Digitek Software, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to lead the establishment and evolution of our Cloud Security Architecture program.

• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of cloud security detection and monitoring tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity).
• Ensure Cloud workloads and servers are securely configured and not vulnerable via monitoring and scanning tools.
• Collaborate with DAS teams for implementation of workload, container, and orchestration security (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
• Integrate Cloud Security Architecture into our Dev Sec Ops /Dev Ops program.
• Update policy documents and establish Standard Operating Procedures for Cloud Security Architecture.
• Review solutions for compliance with Cloud Security standards.
• Participate in project teams to advise on Cloud Security.
• Train Security Team members in related tools and processes.
• Transfer knowledge across teams.

• Cloud Platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with cloud‑native services (IAM, VPC, KMS, Security Groups, etc.)
• Security Architecture & Design
  • Design secure cloud architectures
  • Apply Zero Trust principles
  • Understand shared responsibility models
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Role‑based access control (RBAC)
  • Single Sign‑On (SSO), MFA, federated identity
  • Privileged access management
• Network Security
  • Firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, secure connectivity
  • Cloud‑native network security tools (AWS Security Groups, Azure NSGs, etc.)
• Data Protection
  • Encryption at rest and in transit
  • Key management systems (KMS, HSM)
  • Data classification and loss prevention (DLP)
• Compliance & Governance
  • Familiarity with standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR
  • Policy‑as‑code (OPA, Sentinel)
• Dev Sec Ops  & Automation
  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
  • IaC security (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
  • Security scanning tools (Snyk, Checkov)
• Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment
  • Identify and mitigate cloud‑specific threats
  • Use frameworks like STRIDE or MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
• CISSP

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a fingerprint test, drug test, and background check.

Location:

Columbus, Ohio. In‑person interviews preferred; remote candidates may attend meetings in person as needed.
