Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Scrum Master to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead software development teams in adopting agile practices, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a Scrum Master, you will coach teams and stakeholders, facilitate collaboration, and help the organization embrace empirical product development while ensuring autonomy and accountability.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on servant leadership, mentorship, and enabling high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide teams and the organization in adopting agile practices to deliver customer value, including coaching on self-organization, cross-functionality, and Team Based Solutioning (TBS).
  • Support and educate Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and value management.
  • Facilitate team discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and impediment removal without assigning or dictating work.
  • Observe team interactions, provide feedback, promote transparency, and coach teams to higher levels of maturity.
  • Lead by example and act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues while collaborating with other Agile facilitators to improve agile adoption enterprise-wide.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC tools.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) preferred.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams applying agile values and principles.
  • Servant-leadership mindset with skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, empowerment, and continual improvement.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Scrum techniques and patterns, including burn-down charts, retrospective formats, and bug handling.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience;
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
