IT Support, Systems Administrator
Our client, a leading organization in the scientific / life sciences sector, is seeking a dedicated Operations Analyst to join their team. As an Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Infrastructure Platform and Support department, supporting critical IT infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

LocationColumbus, OH | Must be willing to work 2nd shift position (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm).
What's the Job?- Monitor and maintain the availability and functionality of Data Center Infrastructure including IBM Mainframe, Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.
- Utilize incident and change management processes to document, support, and notify stakeholders of incidents or changes affecting IT systems.
- Support the implementation and operation of infrastructure services such as storage, network, capacity, database, and hardware support.
- Communicate effectively with support staff and users to gather and share operational information.
- Assist in creating and adopting incident management procedures to ensure swift resolution of issues.
- Some college education or equivalent experience in IT support roles.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working within IT infrastructure or support environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow established guidelines and procedures.
