Summary
The Product Security Group is looking for an experienced manager to support a team of security engineers focused on driving security maturity for one of our product surfaces (Facebook, Instagram, Whats App, etc). Your role would be to build a team of security engineers, set strategy, and lead execution, ensuring our products are hardened against attackers.
Required SkillsSecurity Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
Perform research to identify new ways of achieving your mission
Work with vulnerability management, offensive security group, and other security programs to align remediation efforts and best protect the company from known threats
Design, scope, and lead technical assessments on Meta products
Manage the building of assurance automation, scoping, or other security work, and use this model to inform and drive our assessments
Design, build and manage a team of security engineers focused on both the unique systems and technologies used at Meta
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
5+ years of work experience, including 3+ years in recruiting, building and leading technical teams, including performance management
Experience translating technical concepts into language that is understood to audiences including software engineers, business and technical leaders
Experience performing security assurance activities (reviews, SAST/DAST, mitigations)
Experience in managing a team conducting assurance activities
Knowledge and understanding of attack surfaces for products
Experience in at least one of PHP, Hack, Python, C, C++, or Java
Experience leading and managing cross-functional programs
$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
