Job Description

As an Architect Senior, you will be part of a larger team delivering technology solutions to address business problems and opportunities. Focus on translating specific business requirements into technical solution architectures including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non‑functional requirements around supportability, resiliency, security, etc. Translate general business requirements and business trends in architecture patterns and technology ecosystems including data center architecture, application architecture patterns, integration architecture patterns, technology standards, non‑functional technical requirements, and computing paradigms.

You’ll Do
  • Designs and delivers solutions to meet advanced business needs.
  • Critical role for data analytics/data platforms in the Energy Delivery space overseeing initiatives such as Field Mobility, Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), Safety and Health, and Distribution Asset Management (DAM).
  • Investigates and clarifies business unit pain‑points, addresses issues; develops and communicates solutions with options, leveraging standard reference architectures, design patterns, technology guidelines and standards.
  • Produce all architectural solution and project deliverables without assistance. May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
  • Experience: 6 years of relevant work experience required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Additional Requirements: Self‑directed and dependable to produce high‑quality work in a timely manner; contribute to the development and unity of the team’s work; bring strong technical decision‑making skills to the team.

Note: This opportunity will be onsite in Columbus, Ohio.
