Senior ETL (SSIS) Developer

Contract to Hire position in Columbus, OH. Only candidates local to Columbus, OH will be considered. The role is Hybrid (4 days onsite).

Supports Treasury applications and IT Corporate Finance Reporting. The candidate will work on supporting applications, ensuring they run smoothly, and assist with data and infrastructure needs. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, and developing systems based on user specifications, providing technical assistance, and serving as a technical lead on specific projects.

• Support treasury applications and resolve server, job, and performance issues.
• Work on multiple projects—app upgrades, data ingestion from various sources, and cross‑impact projects.
• Maintain first line of defense for IT finance reporting segment.
• 60% support and 40% development work (flexible).

• Self‑motivated, eager to learn different systems used at the client.
• Ability to organize, clarify, and document ongoing knowledge and processes.
• Understanding of corporate processes and ability to work with stakeholders.
• General database knowledge: connectivity, performance, querying, and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of experience in .NET and ETL (SSIS) development.
• Proficiency using Visual Studio.
• Manual and automated testing skills.
• Source control (Git) experience.
• Deployment and validation experience.

• Experience with cloud platform computing.
• HPC Pack and Cluster Manager knowledge.
• Job scheduling knowledge (Rocket Zena).
• Experience with logging frameworks (Splunk).
• Data quality testing tools (Infogix, Anomalo).
• Scripting and automation (Power Shell).

• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably with a tech lead background.
• Knowledge of .NET/C# for APIs, cloud (AWS) integration.
• Experience with Oracle, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake; familiarity with other DBs.
• Knowledge of ETL/SSIS target skills.
