Change Management and Martech Innovation Manager

Summary:

The Change Management Martech Innovation Manager will play a critical role in elevating Huntington’s customer marketing experience throughout their unique financial journey, by leveraging leading Mar Tech capabilities.

This role requires a high degree of cross-functional leadership and an in-depth knowledge of how marketing technology drives enterprise growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can lead programs from strategy through to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Change Management (30%)

• Stakeholder Engagement – Build alignment and support among all teams impacted by marketing, process, or technology changes.
• Change Impact Assessment – Evaluate how the change affects roles, workflows, responsibilities, and business operations.
• Communication Strategy – Deliver clear, targeted messaging that explains the purpose, benefits, and timeline of the change.
• Training and Enablement – Equip users with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to work effectively in the new environment
• Adoption and Readiness Management – Assess organizational readiness and drive sustained adoption of new processes and tools.
• Resistance Management – Identify and address concerns or barriers that may prevent successful adoption.
• Governance and Reinforcement – Establish accountability, monitor compliance, and reinforce desired behaviors after implementation.
• Benefits Realization – Measure and report whether the change is delivering the expected business outcomes and value.

Mar Tech Expertise (50%)

• Develop a marketing technology strategy and socialize the importance of Mar Tech advancement and the business impact to leadership and colleagues.
• Activate marketing technology across various channels, including email, SMS, social media, search, and programmatic advertising to improve personalization and automation for customer marketing.
• Assess current Mar Tech stack based on business objectives, identify gaps, and support the digital team in a market scan to create a recommendation for Huntington’s Mar Tech roadmap.
• Inspire and lead marketing technology implementation, integration, adoption, and other change management activities to ensure value realization from investments.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Mar Tech, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Problem Solving (20%)

• Inspire and lead a cross-department team to implement and adopt Mar Tech solutions.
• Humble leader, willing to roll up your sleeves with all levels across the enterprise and be able to step up as the team grows.
• Proactive problem-solver that can test boundaries and propose creative new solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 7 years of experience in marketing strategy and technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 years+ of Project Management

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (MBA Preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience in marketing strategy and technology
  • Management consulting experience preferred.

    Customer Data Platform.
  • Experience with performance based digital marketing programs, customer segmentation,marketing automation, and delivering personalization at scale.
  • Experience in marketing automation to deliver personalized marketing.

• 6 years+ of Project Management
  • Experienced in managing cross-functional teams and managing conflicting priorities across stakeholder groups.
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and agencies.
  • Proven ability to manage technology projects and integrations effectively.
