DevOps Engineer

The Dev Ops Engineer chair at Tech Forward is for builders, not bystanders, with $51,000 - $79,000 attached and Observability on the daily menu. The Columbus role is less about the $51,000 - $79,000 and more about what 1 years of Change Management lets you own at Tech Forward.

• Trace a purpose-led technology bug across three Amazon ECS services to the one bad line
• Watch Change Management error budgets and pump the brakes before Columbus, OH burns through them
• Hand off Change Management runbooks so the next on-call at Tech Forward sleeps better
• Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools
• Deliver junior-quality features within the $51,000 - $79,000 Dev Ops Engineer mandate

• The communication discipline to over-share early and trim later
• 1+ years of Amazon ECS reps, not just Amazon ECS exposure
• Comfort presenting to an OH-wide audience without a script
• The diplomacy to align stakeholders who don't agree yet
• Comfort being measured against a clear junior bar

Across OH, the ego-light technology systems people trust most often turn out to be Tech Forward, built quietly in Columbus. Our Columbus team treats every retro like a chance to quietly upgrade how we operate.

The offer includes $51,000 - $79,000, remote flexibility, retirement matching, and coaching tailored to your junior goals.
