Senior Technical Delivery Lead​/Project Manager – IT Integrations

Location: Columbus, OH – Hybrid

Onsite Requirements: Approximately 3–4 days per week for the first 90 days, with potential for reduced onsite requirements thereafter.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Lead to support a highly visible, enterprise-wide technology transformation within BMW Financial Services. This role will focus on coordinating and driving the delivery of multiple technical integration and software implementation initiatives across business, IT, development teams, and external partners.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of hands‑on technical experience, project delivery leadership, strong business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. This individual must be comfortable navigating a matrixed organization, managing multiple concurrent initiatives, resolving technical and business challenges, and driving projects forward without direct authority over delivery resources.

This is not a traditional Project Manager position. We are looking for someone with a technical foundation who has transitioned into delivery leadership and remains comfortable participating in technical discussions, analyzing data, and working directly with development teams.

• Lead and coordinate multiple small to medium‑sized IT integration and software implementation initiatives simultaneously.
• Drive technical delivery across internal business teams, IT, offshore development teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.
• Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, resource availability, and overall delivery status.
• Review and interpret technical specifications, integration documentation, and business requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Facilitate technical discussions, identify potential solutions, coordinate appropriate resources, and drive issues through resolution.
• Work within a matrixed organization, building relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, and resource managers to ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Utilize Jira, including JQL queries and dashboards, to monitor progress, track issues, and provide project visibility.
• Maintain project documentation and collaborate through Confluence or similar knowledge management platforms.
• Apply a combination of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies based on project requirements.
• Participate in technical troubleshooting and data analysis, including reviewing or writing SQL queries when necessary.
• Translate technical information into business language and business requirements into actionable technical discussions.
• Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early, escalating appropriately while proactively working toward resolution.
• Support requirements discovery, current‑state assessments, gap analysis, and future‑state process development.
• Assist with statements of work (SOWs), effort estimates, business use cases, and implementation planning.
• Leverage AI productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve efficiency, documentation, and daily workflows.
• Provide clear and consistent communication to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating and driving complex IT projects, technical integrations, or enterprise software implementations.
• Previous hands‑on technical experience in software development, systems integration, data management, or a related IT discipline.
• Experience transitioning from a technical role into project coordination, technical delivery management, or IT leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, including JQL, dashboards, issue tracking, and project reporting.
