Atlas Advisors, LLC (ATLAS) is looking for qualified and motivated language and intelligence professionals to join our team in support of EUCOM Headquarters. You will serve in a full‑time role either CONUS or OCONUS with a wide range of potential positions based on your experience and education.
Locations:
- OCONUS - Stuttgart, Germany
- CONUS - Various locations
Please note this contract is contingent upon award.
Requirements EUCOM LINGUIST SUPPORT MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- 2 years of experience as a linguist
- Proficient in English and one of the target languages
- Able to work in a fast‑paced, challenging environment
- Good physical condition
- Team player
- Willing/able to support short‑term OCONUS Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments
- 4 years of experience as a linguist
- Prior experience supporting the U.S. military
- 4 years of experience in your field
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college/university or internationally recognized college/university
- Willing/able to relocate overseas as needed
- Additional requirements per position
- 10 years of experience in your field
- Military rank of E‑8 or higher
- SOF experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college/university or internationally recognized college/university

Roles/ResponsibilitiesRegional Cultural Advisor (Linguist) - Act as an interpreter and translator for official meetings, negotiations, and community engagements. Provide expert advice and guidance on cultural dynamics and sensitivities within specific European regions. Collect and analyze cultural intelligence; gather information on local customs, political landscapes, and social trends to inform US military leadership about potential risks, opportunities, and cultural factors impacting operations.
Regional Media Specialist (Linguist) - Translate and localize content for regional audiences. Adapt messaging and materials to resonate with specific cultural contexts and media landscapes within their assigned region. Monitor and analyze media coverage of US military activities in their assigned region, develop and implement regional media communication strategies, and respond to media inquiries and requests for information.
Linguist - Provides accurate translations, transcriptions, and summaries of foreign language text, audio, and video material from the target language into English and vice versa. Applies a translation methodology to translate a wide variety of complex texts that contain difficult, abstract, idiomatic, highly technical, and colloquial writing. Post‑edits machine translations for accuracy and completeness. Translates abstract language and nuance and captures socioeconomic elements.

Foreign Language Services Requirements Manager - Identify and assess foreign language service needs by working with stakeholders across the organization to understand their language needs such as translation, interpretation, localization, and transcreation. Will also be responsible for ensuring that all foreign language services meet the organization’s quality standards. This may involve reviewing translations, interpreting services, and localized materials.
