Colombo Law, a premier personal injury firm specializing in commercial vehicle injuries, is seeking a skilled and passionate Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney who thrives in litigation, excels in legal research and writing, and is eager to support trial and appellate work while managing the day-to-day progress of impactful cases.

• Case Management & Litigation:
  Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation from initial intake through resolution, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Legal Research & Writing:
  Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality motions, memoranda, briefs, and appellate filings to support senior attorneys and advance complex arguments in trial and appellate courts.
• Trial Preparation & Support:
  Collaborate with senior attorneys and trial teams to prepare exhibits, witness outlines, and trial briefs, and actively participate in jury selection, courtroom advocacy, and post-trial motions.
• Appellate Work:
  Assist senior attorneys with appellate matters, including issue identification, record review, and preparation of persuasive appellate briefs.
• Client Advocacy:
  Provide clear, consistent communication with clients to keep them informed, answer questions, and ensure their voices are heard throughout the legal process.
• Team

  Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure timely case progression and to implement firm-wide litigation strategies.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility for admission).
• 1–7 years of experience in personal injury litigation or a related practice area, with trial experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in legal research and persuasive writing, with the ability to draft complex motions and appellate briefs.
• Strong understanding of litigation and appellate procedures, evidence rules, and trial practice.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• A collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to client service.
