Purpose of Position

Net Jets is seeking a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Manager to design, develop, and implement supply chain strategies that drive efficiency, reduce costs, manage supplier relationships, and improve overall supply chain performance. The Supply Chain Manager will lead projects and programs partnering with various internal and external stakeholders and foster strong supplier relationships and accountability to achieve the Supply Chain Management strategy as well as the goals of the broader Maintenance organization.

Tasks

and Responsibilities
  • Understand the holistic cross‑functional supplier relationships to drive accountability to improve performance, strategic solutions and comprehensive reporting. Serve as the supplier manager for items requiring escalation.
  • Drive business reviews with Net Jets’ strategic suppliers inclusive of supplier performance across all of Maintenance (Reliability, Materials, MX Operations, Quality, Safety, Warranty, and new deliveries), Supplier Risk Assessments and strategic initiatives.
  • Enforce contract compliance and accountability throughout Net Jets’ Supply Chain inclusive of service levels, invoicing guidelines, pricing, reliability, and any other contractual commitments.
  • Support the development of commercial, contractual, and supply chain acumen in the maintenance organization.
  • Identify supply risks, assess impact to Net Jets, and engage with the Maintenance organization and strategic suppliers to drive mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate across Net Jets Maintenance team to understand overall business strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the entire Supply Chain.

Education

Bachelor's in Supply Chain and Logistics or related field

Certifications and Licenses Years of Experience

  • Considerable experience managing third party supplier contracts and relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, utilized to influence multiple levels within an organization and external stakeholders to drive successful execution and adoption of initiatives.
  • Proven track record in managing supplier performance in a complex, matrix environment with engagement of multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain and communicate a current understanding of supply chain best practices, technology trends and innovations to team members and business leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and maintain tight timelines while meeting targeted savings outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record of total cost of ownership reduction, process improvement, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with a variety of state‑of‑the‑art supply management concepts, practices and procedures such as: lean; six sigma; cost modeling; category strategies; materials management; modern manufacturing and others.
  • Exercises good judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and ability to output a high quantity and quality of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance while managing and influencing through organizational changes above and beyond their direct scope of responsibility.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
