Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a living customer profiling document for strategic academic and community customers, refreshed annually.
- Engage academic opinion leaders (OLs) for insight generation, advocacy development, and sentiment tracking.
- Build long‑term relationships with influential breast‑cancer providers in key community accounts; synthesize feedback from consulting and engagements to inform strategy.
- Provide actionable insights to cross‑functional field partners, headquarters marketing, and medical affairs.
- Support headquarters marketing in understanding market sentiment, treatment drivers/barriers, and generate insights for strategic launch planning.
- Collaborate on annual brand planning with headquarters marketing.
- Lead OL/customer engagement planning at tier‑1 and tier‑2 congresses in collaboration with marketing, executive leadership, and cross‑functional partners.
- Advise on consultant selection for advisory boards, one‑on‑one consulting, and strategic projects aligned with brand needs.
- Track and manage speaker bureau impact per Gilead’s business conduct manual.
- Lead and manage third‑party program vendors to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Act as a leader within the cross‑functional team through proactive communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate compliantly with global and U.S. medical strategy colleagues and OLP for customer engagement planning.
- Effectively manage and track budget.
- Bachelor’s degree plus twelve years of experience, or Master’s degree plus ten years of experience, or Ph.D. plus eight years of experience.
- Ability to travel as required, including regular travel within the Atlantic region and occasional overnight stays.
- Willingness to satisfy onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners, if applicable (e.g., vaccinations, screenings).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform essential duties and make reasonable accommodations for disabilities as required.

- Minimum 5 years of oncology experience.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience.
- Oncology launch experience.
- Knowledge of the breast‑cancer market.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnights and some evening/weekend programs.
