We are representing a well‑established and growing commercial general contractor in the Columbus, Ohio market that is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its operations team. This is a senior‑level role with full ownership of major projects and direct exposure to executive leadership.

The company has a strong backlog of ground‑up and complex commercial construction projects across Central Ohio and is known for long‑term client relationships, repeat work, and a collaborative culture.

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and change management
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with superintendents
• Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts, and performance
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
• Review and negotiate change orders, subcontracts, and vendor agreements
• Coordinate closely with preconstruction teams during handoff and GMP development
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
• Mentor and support project managers and project engineers

• 8–12+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor
• Strong background managing ground‑up and complex commercial projects
• Proven experience managing projects from $10M+ in value
• Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and contracts
  
  Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel)
• Strong leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills
