Corrugated Production Associate at Welch Packaging – Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area

Compensation: $66,200.00–$86,835.00 annually ($20/hr for certain shifts).
Schedule: 1st shift Mon-Fri 6 AM–2:30 PM, 8‑10 hour shift.
Type: Full time.
OT: As required.

• Follows all safety procedures associated with the machine center.
• Prepares bottom and top sheets for units and prints load tags.
• Responsible for unitization per customer specification.
• Understands and participates in quality checks.
• Works at pace set by the machine operator to achieve conformance to production schedule.
• Reads and follows shop order instructions.
• Troubleshoots problems throughout production run.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in work area.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Proven ability to work safely, adhering to all safety processes and policies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion to support operational and business needs.
• Ability to work either individually or in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Must stand for 8‑10 hours a day. Bend, stand, squat, twist repeatedly.

Work Environment: Loud environment requiring hearing protection; exposure to fumes or airborne particles; manufacturing facility with machinery and equipment; occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, high precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock; fast‑paced environment.

English Proficiency: Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Shifts may offer differential pay.
