We offer a sign‑on bonus of $2,000 and hourly pay of $23.85, including shift differential. Shift: Sun‑Thurs 11pm‑7:30am.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Verify and prepare re‑packaging material and equipment for production runs.
- Set up and change over packaging machines for production runs, following work instructions, standards and SOPs.
- Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot, make adjustments and follow escalation protocol when needed.
- Re‑package raw material into finished products that meet packaging specifications and quality standards.
- Work with maintenance to resolve mechanical issues.
- Clean and sanitize the production room and equipment.
- Record and prepare accurate batch record information using basic math skills.
- Follow 5S principles and guidelines.
- Engage in technical training, compliance training and other required training.
- Assist in training new operators with the Operator III – Packaging Machine.
- Adhere to cGMPs, safety regulations and SOPs.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the shift.
- Team‑work with the AHP operations team to meet or exceed quality and production goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to promote line efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with quality and other supporting areas to resolve issues preventing goal achievement.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Associates degree, vocational program or certification in manufacturing operations or equivalent preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing experience; one year in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industry preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand English, and write compliance documentation accurately.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
- Basic problem‑solving capabilities for troubleshooting in production.
- Experience in 5S principles and practices.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
