We are currently hiring for a Batch Operator in our Construction plant. Compensation$25.79 per hour per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift. Training hours worked on 1st shift will not include shift differential.
ResponsibilitiesThe role of a batch operator apprentice is to safely operate and control systems in weighing, metering, and mixing raw materials to make consistent batches while following batch sheets and quality standards to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Chemical processing/batch experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift at least 55 pounds on a regular basis
- Standing 50-100% of the time
- Must be able to wear a respirator while performing this job
- Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including head, eye, ear and foot protection 90-100% of the time
3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)
Initial training will occur during 1st shift which is 7:00am - 3:15pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
