We are conducting a confidential search for a reputable international manufacturing organization seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Columbus, OH. This is a key role supporting daily plant operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment reliability and workplace safety.

• Perform routine and non-routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
• Ensure operational uptime through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative care.
• Support project installations, plant upgrades, and equipment relocations.
• Maintain safety and equipment compliance per operational standards.
• Use tools including welders, forklifts, and diagnostic devices.

• Technical certification (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to weld (TIG / MIG / Plasma) and operate various shop tools.
• Working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience operating forklifts and participating in project installations.
